Asics Lady Gel Kinsei 2 Running Shoe. Improving further on this already excellent ASICS premium running shoe.

Upper: Cuprothermo synthetic leather upper with a Biomorphic Fit. Biomorphic Fit technology uses high-tech stretch materials to allow the shoe upper to move with the foot. This mean the foot encounters less friction and fabric bunching during specific moments of the gait cycle. Enhanced Personal Heel Fit makes the foot more secure.

Sole features: I.G.S.® (Impact Guidance System): Meeting the demands of all athletic activities, the I.G.S.® (Impact Guidance System is a technical design philosophy that allows the foot to perform in a more natural manner. A Solyte midsole that is a proprietary cushioning material that provides an exceptionally lightweight midsole. A Discreet Sole. A Propulsion Trusstic System which is a molded component which reduces the weight of the sole unit while retaining the structural integrity of the shoe. ASICS High Abrasion Resistance rubber is a tough compound used at the heavy contact areas of the outsole. it helps to reduce excessive wear. DuraSponge®: A blown AHAR® rubber compound for enhanced cushioning and durability in the forefoot. Wing Construction.

  • You'll need a cushioned shoe if you're a neutral runner or an underpronator.
  • Only 30% of runners fall into this category.
  • If you're a neutral runner, you'll have an efficient running gait and you're likely to have a normal arch.
  • If you're an underpronator, your foot doesn't pronate (roll inwards) enough during the gait cycle. You're likely to have a high, rigid arch.
  • Both of these types require a cushioned shoe which won't hinder the natural pronation of the foot.
