The wines of Marques de Caceres are made as a partnership between one of the region's most innovative producers and Michel Rolland, one of the world's leading consultant winemakers. Their class and breeding shines through.

Tasting Notes : An exquisitely fresh and elegant wine with floral and delicate herbaceousness on the nose, and rich redcurrant, wild strawberry and raspberry sorbet flavours dominating the palate.

Producer : Marques de Caceres

Method of Production : The fruit was selected from some of the highest slopes in Rioja Alta. After crushing, the grape skins soaked in the juice for several hours to produce an attractive rose colour and flavour. Fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks at low temperatures. The wine was bottled young to preserve its vibrant, red berry flavours.

A delightful wine discovered on holiday and revisited many times always in my rack for anytime drinking.Friends comments are always positive about this wine.

This wine was a great success at a recent event and all the guests loved it! As a matter of fact the majority of guests ran to Oddbins to buy whole boxes.

I'd go with Nigella Lawson on this one. An excellent wine to drink with most foods or just on its own. Perfect for a summers day!
