Anyone familiar with Peter Lehmann's wines will know what to expect; lashings of deep fruit and excellent use of oak. Those who aren't should get acquainted with this pronto.

Tasting Notes : Deep in colour with layers of chocolate, smoke, toasty oak and plummy flavours. Fantastic!

Producer : Peter Lehmann

Method of Production : Shiraz grapes were harvested with deep, rich flavours and excellent structure. The fruit was destemmed, crushed and fermented in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks. Malolactic fermentation was encouraged and the wine aged for one year in French and American oak hogsheads (300 litre barrels) prior to bottling.

Glorious 2005

Have drunk it in Australia and at home in Scotland - absolutely superb. Ensure you have a 'second bottle' its that good and great value.

Just can't get enough

Flippin' brilliant. I love the Barossa, and as I'm based in dreary old London, this transports me from dull suburbia to bright Antipodean sunshine in one sip.
