Ever on the lookout for exceptional examples of world famous apellations, we were delighted to get hold of this delicious Sancerre. Prolonged ageing on its lees has endowed this wine with huge reserves of depth and complexity.

Tasting Notes : A clean, floral nose leads to a fresh, characterful palate with nicely rounded fruit and a crisp finish.

Producer : Comte de Charme

Method of Production : The fruit was harvested by machine from vines grown on chalky / clay slopes. Following a gentle pressing and cold settling to clear the juice, fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks using natural yeasts. The wine did not undergo malolactic fermentation but was left on its lees for six months to gain in weight and complexity before bottling.
