A wine of tremendous character. The white wines of Spain are often eclipsed by the more famous reds, but offer genuine delights. The perfect match for tapas-style foods on a lazy summer's evening.

Tasting Notes : Notes of pineapple and citrus fruit fill the nose accompanied by gentle aromas of vanilla. Rich and long.

Producer : Bodegas Palacio

Method of Production : Grown on calcareous soils rich in lime, the Viura grapes were hand-picked and destemmed, although a portion was whole-bunch pressed. The must was left to cold settle then was racked into stainless steel tanks for fermentation. Before the end of fermentation, the wine was transferred to new French oak barrels and left with its fine yeast lees to add a little complexity. After spending 6 months in barrel, the wine was lightly filtered and bottled.
