Standard retail price: £59.88

Soft and fresh but with a touch more richness than a classic Soave, this is a refreshing white that goes well with food. Peach and citrus aromas give way to a supple, fleshy palate with hints of almonds on the finish

More Information

  • ABOUT THIS WINE: This Soave is made from 100% Garganega grapes sourced from a vineyard that has been certified organic since 1996. The moderating influence of nearby Lake Garda means the grapes mature in temperate conditions and thus retain freshness while at the same time developing ripe, full flavours. Proud winemaker Pietro Tessari describes his wine as having, ''delightful ripe roundness and concentration''.

SERVING: This wine is at its best when served lightly chilled either as an aperitif or as an accompaniment for simple, direct flavours such as shellfish, salads and antipasti.

KEEPING: Although this wine is best enjoyed young, it can be kept for up to 6 months after purchase. Drink within 2 days of opening and keep the bottle re-sealed in the fridge.

Licensing Act 2003: it is an offence for any person under 18 years to buy or attempt to buy alcohol
