Gold Label Chardonnay 2007 A ripe yet elegant example of French Chardonnay showing rich peach and pineapple fruit and a hint of creamy oak.
ABOUT THIS WINE: The Chardonnay grape makes wines of great complexity and richness, but this example is also well balanced, with a light, refreshing quality. This has been achieved by aging just 20% of the wine in new oak barrels. We worked closely with Cédric Jenin in the south of France to create this style.
SERVING: Serve this wine lightly chilled. It can enjoyed on its own as an aperitif but it has enough richness to partner lobster, crab and scallops, and it will also match chicken and baked cheese dishes such as quiche and souffle.
KEEPING: Ready to drink now, but this wine can also be kept for up to 1 year after the date of purchase. Once opened, the wine will remain in good condition if the bottle is resealed and stored in a cool, dark place.

ABOUT THIS WINE: The delicious, ripe blackcurrant fruit of this wine comes from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes grown in the warm Mediterranean climate of the Languedoc Roussillon region in the south of France.
SERVING: Serve at room temperature. A medium-bodied red, this is a versatile, food-friendly wine that can be served with beef, lamb or roast poultry, or try it with a selection of cheeses.
KEEPING: This wine is ready to drink now, and it will keep for another year after the date of purchase. After opening, the wine will remain in good condition for up to 2 days if the bottle is resealed and stored in a cool, dark place.
