More Information

  • ABOUT THIS WINE: This is produced in the Abruzzo region in the Pescara Province of Italy. Abruzzo enjoys the warm tempertures of Central Italy and yet has the cooling influence of the Adriatic Sea close to which the vineyards are located. It is made by renowned female 'flying' winemaker Gaetane Carron, who has made wine all over the world. Careful ageing in French oak barrels for 6 months results in the smooth complex nature of the wine.

SERVING: Perfect with roast beef and lamb, spicy tomato pasta dishes, strong mature cheddar and smoked or chargrilled meats and vegetables.

KEEPING: Perfect for drinking now, you could lay this down for 2 to 3 years. Once opened, it will remain fresh for up to 3 days if resealed immediately and kept in a cool place.

Licensing Act 2003: it is an offence for any person under 18 years to buy or attempt to buy alcohol
