ABOUT THIS WINE: The Hunter Valley is one of Australia's best-known wine regions and one of the oldest, with well-established, mature vineyards. Its premium wines taste ripe, fruity and powerful but well-balanced and complex. This wine is 100% Hunter Valley Chardonnay, aged in French oak barrels for 6 months to add spicy, creamy hints. The winemaker was Andrew Spinaze.
SERVING: Serve lightly chilled. This wine makes a superb partner for roast chicken or turkey or even pork, and for rich salmon dishes. Try it with rich seafood, such as lobster or crab, too.
KEEPING: This premium wine has been released ready to drink but it will remain in good condition for 1 year after purchase. Once opened, keep in the fridge and reseal between servings. Finish within 2 days.
