Oracle Pinotage
Product Code: 89404
Pinotage is a curious cross of Pinot Noir and Cinsaut that's peculiar to South Africa, but no oddity to us - in fact, this one's exclusive to us.
Tasting Notes : Lively ruby in colour, delicate aromas of plum are laced with wood-spice and vanilla. Hints of chocolate contribute to a mouth-filling complexity and leave a distinctive berried aftertaste.
Producer : Oracle
Method of Production : Destemmed grapes were crushed and fermented on their skins for four days to extract maximum fruit and colour without harsh tannins. After a malolactic conversion, the wine was matured on French oak staves for nine months to impart spicy notes and complexity on the nose and plate.

Considering that in general South African wines are increasing in price and dropping in quality, this mid-priced Western Cape wine is an absolutely delightfully rich, smooth, entrancing, yummy-jammy silk dressing-gown of a wine, from first to last glass.
