Oracle Chardonnay

Oracle are a steadfast lot, producing flavour-packed wines throughout their range. Their Chardonnay is no exception, displaying good tropical fruit flavours and toasty oak.

Tasting Notes : Light straw in colour with attractive green edges, the wine's tropical fruit nose is laced with vanilla and heralds the rich, clotted cream and pineapple palate.

Method of Production : Grapes were sourced from well-established, trellised vineyards planted between 1985 and 1990. After fermentation in stainless steel tanks, 50% of the wine was transferred into French oak barrels, where it spent six months, and was stirred on the lees fortnightly. The final blend was matured in barrel for four months.
