Lovely rich, fruity fizz combining some of the quality and complexity of the way wines are made in Champagne with a distinctly Californian fruitiness.

Tasting Notes : Aromas of melons and toasty vaniila lead on to a fresh, ripe apple flavoured palate with hints of red fruits.

Producer : Mumm Napa

Method of Production : Made mainly from Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier from more than 50 different vineyards. The grapes were hand-picked into small crates and loaded into presses as whole bunches to give very clean juice. Batches from individual vineyards were kept separate during initial fermentation before blending for the final cuvee. It was then bottled to undergo secondary fermentation, and spent around one and a half years on the yeast until it is disgorged.

Food Choice

Try it with lobster drizzled in olive oil or a baked brie with apples.

Excellent, classy fizz. I personally would rather drink this than Mumm's 'authentic' Champagne. And it's 1/2 the price, too!!
