Concha y Toro Winemaker's Lot 20 Viognier

This is great Viognier - concentrated, peachy, floral and spicy - from the master of Chilean winemaking, Ignacio Recabarren.

Tasting Notes : A pale yellow wine with complex ripe fruits on the nose of peaches and apricots with smoky notes. In the mouth the wine has good maturity, exotic fruit, creamy and a long, excellent and rounded finish.

Producer : Concha y Toro

Method of Production : The handpicked picked grapes where whole bunch pressed, then allowed to cold settle. Fermentation occurred over three weeks in 100% French oak barrels (a mixture of one and two years old) between 15 and 22°C. The wine was aged in the same barrels for ten months on its lees without racking. The wine was gently fined and filtered before bottling.
