Coteaux de Triscatin Rouge Enclave des Papes

Predominantly Grenache with some Syrah and a splash of Carignan, this red from the southern extremity of the Rhône Valley is unoaked with clean incisive fruit flavours, that make it a lovely drop for those warmer days, or just the thing for a mixed plate of charcuterie.
Tasting Notes : The nose is fresh and lively with aromas of black and red currants plus a touch of roasted coffee beans. The palate is well balanced and refreshing with more currant flavours, crushed raspberries and a hint of white pepper.

Method of Production : Once picked the grapes were processed at Templiers Cellar in Richerenches. After being destemmed the grapes were crushed and fermented in stainless steel vats for eight days. The wine was then allowed to mature in tank on its fine lees for six months, and during this time malolactic conversion was encouraged. The wine was fined and filtered before bottling.
