More Information

  • ABOUT THIS WINE: Produced in much smaller quantities than its red counterpart, white Châteauneuf-du-Pape is an equally full-bodied and enchanting style of wine. The Pied Redon vineyard, just east of the village of Châteauneuf-du-Pape is dotted with pretty little copses or 'bois'. Winemaker Didier Couturier has used organically-grown classic white grape varieties - Grenache blanc, Roussanne, Clairette and Bourboulenc - which are hand-picked to create a flavoursome, unoaked wine with great finesse.

SERVING: Serve lightly chilled with meaty fish dishes such as baked monkfish wrapped in Parma ham, griddled swordfish, or pan-fried scallops with a Thai-style dressing. Alternatively, try lemon roasted chicken with sweet potato mash or spring vegetable risotto.

KEEPING: This wine is ready to drink now but has the structure to be kept for up to 3 years from purchase if stored correctly. Once opened, it should be drunk within 2 days and the bottle should be re-sealed and kept in the fridge.

Licensing Act 2003: It is an offence for any person under 18 years to buy or attempt to buy alcohol
