ABOUT THIS WINE: This minute property, set on a wonderfully positioned site in the Puisseguin commune of St Emilion, has belonged to the Brisson family for over a century. They farm the vineyard without the use of any chemical products. The blend is classic for the region with 85% Merlot and 15% Cabernet.
SERVING: Serve at room temperature. This is a sound, lunchtime claret that will taste ideal with roast lamb, roast beef and traditional English cheeses like Cheddar and Stilton.
KEEPING: Drinking nicely now, you could safely keep this claret for another year. If resealed fairly quickly after opening, you could equally enjoy it a day later.
