More Information

  • ABOUT THIS WINE: The rugged limestone hills of Corbières are part of an ancient winemaking landscape - the Romans made wine in these parts and rated it highly. Located just outside the city of Narbonne, the vineyards that make this wine are owned by the historic Château de Luc, first recorded in 1119 as a small reinforced castle to protect the employees and the harvest.

We asked current owner and winemaker Louis Fabres to make us a mouth-watering, fruit-driven red and that's just what he's done, putting together a blend of four typical southern French varieties from old vines for extra depth of flavour.

It's a versatile style that works equally well either on its own or as a match for rustic food like farmhouse terrine or provençale chicken stew.
