More Information

  • ABOUT THIS WINE: The warm, sunny area of Minervois in the deep south of France is renowned for its rich, ripe red wines. This is a superb example, made from a classic blend of Southern French grapes, including Carignan, Grenache and Syrah. The well-known and highly acclaimed winemaker Gerard Bertrand aged the wine in new oak barrels for eight months to add extra body and hints of spice.

SERVING: Serve this wine at room temperature. It makes a great partner for game dishes, especially roast pheasant, or try it with a traditional joint of lamb or beef and all the trimmings, or with full-flavoured cheeses.

KEEPING: This wine is ready to drink now, or open within one year of purchase. Once started, finish up in three days, resealing the bottle and storing it in a cool spot between servings.

Licensing Act 2003: It is an offence for any person under 18 years to buy or attempt to buy alcohol
