More Information

  • ABOUT THIS WINE: The small appellation of Hermitage, in France's Rhône Valley, produces typically hearty, concentrated red wines with a slightly spicy character. The grape is used in the increasingly popular Syrah known as Shiraz in some parts of the world. The fruit for this wine came from steep terraced vineyards sheltered from harsh winds, and the grapes were hand harvested. The wine was aged in new oak barrels before release.

SERVING: Serve at room temperature. This powerful wine makes a superb partner for roast red meats, steaks, venison and rich, full-flavoured cheeses.

KEEPING: Although it has been released ready to drink, this wine will also keep for up to 2 years after purchase if stored correctly. Once opened, finish within two days, keeping the resealed bottle somewhere cool and dark.

Licensing Act 2003: it is an offence for any person under 18 years to buy or attempt to buy alcohol

    Please drink responsibly
