  ABOUT THIS WINE: A wine with all the ripe, rich flavour expected of a southern French red, yet with an unusually easy-drinking, soft character, this comes from the Faugeres area of the Languedoc. It has been made mainly from the fruity Mourvedre grape in the foothills of the Cevennes which have a dry and mild Mediterranean climate. The winemaker was Guy Roque. This wine is unoaked to preserve its rich juicy fruit character.
  
  SERVING: Serve this wine at room temperature. It is soft and smooth enough to be enjoyed on its own, but it will make a better partner for food, especially roast pork and grilled lamb chops.
  
  KEEPING: This wine is ready to drink now and can be kept for up to 18 months after purchase. Once opened, it will remain in good condition for 2 or 3 day if the bottle is resealed and kept in a cool, dark place.
