SILVER MEDAL WINNER at the International Wine Challenge 2008
Soft and refreshing, this delicate Italian white has a gently aromatic note. It is full of aromas of spring blossom and ripe peers, and is attractively light in the mouth
A very fragrant wine with lemon and pineapple notes. The Guardian, September 2008
...pale yellow colour. A very fragrant wine with lemon and pineapple notes. Long and unusual. Drink with fish, salad, vegetarian. The Guardian, September 2008 ABOUT THIS WINE: This fresh, aromatic white is made from the indigenous Nosiola grape grown at altitude in the farmsteads of Pressano and the Valle di Cembra in Trentino, northern Italy. Relatively cool conditions in the pergola-trained vineyards mean the grapes retain good aromas and delicate flavours. Gianni Gasperi is a winemaker with a wealth of experience in the region and he has excelled in making us a fruity, herbal white, typical of the area. This wine has been sealed with a screw cap - our aim is to choose the most suitable closure for each wine.
SERVING: Serve lightly chilled to allow the aromatic nature of the wine to express itself. Perfect as an aperitif, or served with fresh subtly flavoured dishes such as green herb risotto or char-grilled chicken and mango salad.
KEEPING: This wine is intended to be drunk young and will taste at its refreshing best for up to 6 months. Once opened, drink within a couple of days and keep chilled while resealed.
Licensing Act 2003: it is an offence for any person under 18 years to buy or attempt to buy alcohol
