A smooth, mellow Italian red which displays all the succulent fruity character of premium Chianti - look out for concentrated flavours of fresh strawberry and red cherry, with aromatic hints of toasted nuts and tea leaves
ABOUT THIS WINE: This fine Chianti comes from the picturesque Bunchino Estate near the ancient village of Terricola in the Pisan hills of Tuscany. Its exceptional quality and fruity concentration are derived in part from the clay and fossil shell soils of the vineyard. Almost all the grapes used are Sangiovese, and the wine was aged in traditional oak casks for over a year to add subtle nuances of spice and toast. The winemaker was Sabino Russo.
SERVING: Serve at room temperature. This is a food-friendly wine which would match a wide range of main courses, including roast beef, game birds, and rich pasta sauces.
KEEPING: This wine is ready to drink now, or enjoy within 18 months of purchase. Once opened, finish it within 3 days, resealing the bottle between servings and storing in a cool, dark place.
Licensing Act 2003: it is an offence for any person under 18 years to buy or attempt to buy alcohol
