More Information

  • ABOUT THIS WINE: Thjis wine comes from a single estate in the celebrated district of Chianti, south of the city of Florence in Tuscany. The area enjoys sunny, warm summers without extremes of temperture and can be the source of reds with good balance, complexity and finesse. Here the grapes used are mainly Sangiovese with a little Canaiolo and a sprinkling of other varieties in the blend. The wine was aged in French oak barrels for between for and 6 months.

SERVING: Serve at room temperature. Premium Chianti is a brilliant match for roast poultry and game birds, or try it with your finest meat pasta dishes or mature, full-flavoured cheeses such as farmhouse Cheddar, Parmasan or Pecorino.

KEEPING: This wine is ready to drink now but will keep well for up to 2 years after purchase if stored correctly. Once opened, reseal between servings, storing the bottle in a cool, dark spot, and finish the wine within 3 days.

Licensing Act 2003: it is an offence for any person under 18 years to buy or attempt to buy alcohol
