More Information

  • ABOUT THIS WINE: The grapes for this wine were grown in the Elim area of Western Cape, near the Southern tip of Africa. Because this is near the coast, the grapes have the benefit of cooling breezes, so the fruit is ripe with a distinctive fresh flavour. The grapes are 100% merlot, aged in French barrels for 9 months. The winemakers were Tseliso Rangaka and Jeff Grier.

SERVING: This wine is smooth enough to enjoy on its own or try it with duck, chicken in red wine or tomato sauces, or match it with a baked cheese dish like vegetable lasagne. Ideal serving temperature 17-18°C.

KEEPING: Although this wine is ready to drink now, it should keep well for a further 6 months after purchase. Once opened, finish within 2 days, keeping the sealed bottle in a cool, dark place between servings.

Licensing Act 2003: It is an offence for any person under 18 years to buy or attempt to buy alcohol
