More Information

  • ABOUT THIS WINE: Burra Brook Rosé is made purely from Shiraz and Grenache grapes by Geoff Merrill, one of the leading winemakers of South Australia. Geoff is almost as well known for his magnificent handlebar moustache and love of cricket as for the vibrancy of his superbly crafted wines! The long, hot and dry summer ensured that the grapes reached complete ripeness. The grape juice was then carefully fermented at low temperatures resulting in a rosé wine that has a truly full flavour whilst retaining a tongue-tingling aromatic freshness. This wine has been sealed with a screw cap - our aim is to choose the most suitable closure for each wine.

SERVING: To enjoy its ripe fruit - packed flavours, serve this wine gently chilled but not ice-cold. It is a perfect choice with duck terrine and other pâtés as well as with charcuterie, grilled chicken and pasta with tomato sauce.

KEEPING: This wine is at its best when it is full of youthful exuberance, ideally within 6 months of purchase. Once opened it will remain in good condition for up to two days if resealed and placed in the fridge.

Licensing Act 2003: it is an offence for any person under 18 years to buy or attempt to buy alcohol
