Chimney Creek Sauvignon Blanc

Chimney Creek is the export label for the Giesen Wine Estate that we see over here in Blighty. Though this winery has its origins near Christchurch, this is a great value Sauvignon from Marlborough, with just a splash of other fruit from Gisborne, adding an extra fuller and riper dimension.

Tasting Notes : Ripe tropical fruit, citrus and dried herbs flavours with a crisp and refreshing acidity.

Method of Production : The grapes were destemmed, crushed, pressed and the juice cold settled. Fermentation occurred in temperature controlled stainless steel for three to five weeks after which the wine was fined, filtered and bottled under screw cap.
