I telling you now, the PSP is a great handheld console if you are able to unlock it's full potential. Playing music, videos, games & internet on this is amazing. I also have the Nds and although the games are more enjoyable then on the PSP don't be put off getting a PSP. It can do much more then you think. I have compared it to my sister's Ipod and she sold her Ipod to get a PSP.

If you want portable anything or everything, get a PSP.

This console can do anything you want it do, unless you have freakish expectations.

Firstly, gaming. The games for this console are brilliant. They, unlike games for the DS, have brilliant graphics and can feel just like the home version, but portable. The controls are just like the playstation controls(minus the second shoulder buttons, which you don't miss). You can play online, just like the PS3 and with your friends on their PSP's, with only one of you needing to have the game. So, gaming: 5 stars.

Secondly, videos. The PSP can play both UMD's and .mp4 video files. Video quality on the PSP is fantastic, like DVD but better. Not Hi-Def, but good enough. There are loads of UMD's you can get and to put video files on you just plug it in to your computer, with a USB cable, and copy and paste the files in to the VIDEO folder. Couldn't be simpler.

Thirdly, music. The PSP is great for music, as it can play through earphones and, because of the speakers on the bottom, you can listen to it without them, which is awesome. The speakers are there for the games but are even more useful for the music. It can play .mp3's, .aac's, .wma's, pretty much every audio format you can think of. Again, you just plug it in to the computer and copy and paste the audio files in to the MUSIC folder.

Fourthly, pictures. Pictures can be viewed individually, or in a slideshow. You can zoom in and out, rotate, set as wallpapers, there's alot. You just copy and paste in to the PHOTO folder.

Finally, Internet. You can connect to any wifi network, through the PSP. Where the PSP differs from other portable internet accessible gadgets(except for the iPhone), the PSP's internet appears just like the internet on your computer. You can download video's, song's, picture's, demo's and any other downloadable files with your PSP. They will go automatically in to their correct folder i.e. song's in to MUSIC, video's in to VIDEO etc. Or any folder of your choosing.

Also, the PSP is amazingly customizable. You can change, themes, wallpapers, audio equalizers, button configurations and lots more.

It is an amazing console, and if you judge gaming by this and the PS3, you can tell that Sony really has brought more than it's A game.

This is a vast improvement lighter, thinner and better speakers. Graphically superior to DS + the benefit of being able to play UMD movies.(Great for long haul flights)I had the original and as mentioned in previous reviews PSP Lite is a lot less clunkier! I love the fact I can plug it in to my LCD T.V and play games/movies full size. (Component lead required & also check your TV compatability 1st though)
