In Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games, players will compete in events that take place in environments based on the official venues of the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games. Using a supporting cast of characters from the amazing worlds of both Mario and Sonic, gamers will be able to compete as or against a range of lovable personalities including Mario, Sonic, Luigi, Knuckles, Yoshi, Tails and more. Innovative usage of the Wii control system to maneuver a favourite character will allow players to race the likes of Mario and Sonic down the 100m track, engage in exhilarating rallies in table tennis and churn water in a swimming heat, all while competing for the much sought after gold medal.

The interactive Wii controls include actions like swinging the Wii remote to simulate hammer throw, notching the Nunchuk to shoot arrows, and replicating swimming strokes.

brill i like it a lot as i love any game on the wii that will get me swetty lol Reviewed by: Robert from Doncaster, UK Great Game Now I have Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games I think it is great but I really do think there should be a tennis event because I quite like playing tennis on the Wii so I keep having to switch games to Wii Sports Reviewed by: Robert from Doncaster, UK This is sure to be the BEST GAME EVER launched! Although I don’t have this game yet I think that when I get it Mario and Sonic at the Olympic games will be BRILLIANT! There are lots of sporting events to partake in and most of them are easy to do if you chose the right Characters.A definite Winner 10/10
