Review

The long-awaited remake to the PlayStation hit takes flight on the PS3. In Warhawk, players experience the thrill of white-knuckle aerial combat with hundreds of enemy fighters, bone-crunching armored assaults and high-intensity infantry combat in a massive, all-out war fought both on the ground and in the skies.

During gameplay, players are tasked with protecting their homeland from the invading Chernovan armada. By doing so, players take command of the most advanced war machine in the fleet, the Warhawk, capable of aerobatic dogfights at high speeds or hovering over ground troops providing tactical support. Players continue the battle on foot with an arsenal of weaponry including pistols, rifles, grenades and more. Furthermore, players can gain access to an array of ground vehicles and lay waste with powerful weapons mounted on jeeps, tanks and specialty transports.

I only downloaded the demo a few weeks ago and I can't believe why I didn't buy it in the first place, its just so good and well made, the flying is great and the ground combat is just fun and addictive. I am thinking of getting this game and would really appreciate some help with getting to know it know, I'm usually a little slow to get to grips with good online games. So anyone who just wants to teach me the main things of this wonderful game please add me on: altair14 I really like this game and want to get the most out of it before all the big online games come out, like Killzone 2 and resistance, thanks if anyone considers helping me!

Customer rating: 3 out of 5 stars You think it will be great....it is and it isn't

Have had the game for such a long time now. Played it to death at the start and don't really bother now apart from about an hour every month or so. I think they got this one right with it being on-line only, but on-line experience is either good or bad. It really depends on how many people are in that one warzone at a time. Ideal numbers would be around 5 on each team, any more and you end up living for about 15 seconds each time. Enjoyed using sniper rifle as you end up killing people so much easier (and they never see it coming). Not really a game where you can stand still for too long. Had I have rated this months ago I would have given it a 4-5 star rating, but have realised that it really isn't as good as I thought.

Customer rating: 2 out of 5 stars I just don't get it

I was on the fence about buying this but thought the addition of a headset would be cool so i could chat online.

I got sucked in an bought it about 6 months ago and after about i week of play i got bored of it.
Only 3 types of vehicle and starting with only the pistol sucks.

I haven't played on it for months but after trying to download the trial version from the PSN and was told i couldn't as i have already got the game i picked it up again.
Not sure if its just because i aren't any good at the game but i get wasted ever other minute and have to re-spawn with the rubbish pistol just to get back to where i was and get wasted again.

COD4 and Bad Company are far better online experiences IMO
