Stretch yourself, whatever your height, with the pull-up bar that won't wreck your door or leave your feet on the floor.

Here at Stuff HQ we've seen pull-up bars that attach to doors before and to be quite frank, anything that meant we didn't have to go to the gym was okay by us. However, there were two major problems with pretty much every model. One, if you're over six feet tall, you needed to hitch your legs up to your chin to actually pull yourself off the floor. Two, setting it up meant drilling into your wall or door frame. That's why we love the Powerbar ? the pull-up bar that solves both these problems.
Instead of using screw fixings, the tubular steel Powerbar grips to your door frame via cantilever gripping action. As only part of the user's weight is creating downward pressure on the frame, the bar holds, and there's no damage to the frame. When fitted, the upper section of the Powerbar is 78 inches (6ft 6in) from the floor, allowing all but the most giant-like of users to pull themselves off the ground. The lower section supports your forearms, preventing swinging.
The Powerbar can be used for more than pull-ups too. Perform chin-ups, leg raises... even remove it from the doorway and use it for wide arm push-ups at floor level. Screw the gym! And don't screw the Powerbar!

Review Powerbar.
The Powerbar what an excellent addition to anyone's workout equipment.I've had mine for about a month now,and can't stop using it.I do quite a bit of bodyweight training and can definitely recommend it .Try doing supersets of (example) 15 chinups (or what you can do comfortably ,don't go to failure) followed straight after by 15 pullups, then rest for no more than 1 minute and repeat .do this 3 times and you can really feel it and you'll see the difference in a couple of weeks. The same goes for Knee Raises and Straight Leg Raises ,these are great for the abs and are a great core workout. This is a great product, it's well made, easy to use and it gets you fit. Stephen Gorton, Hail Weston
Excellent product. I've had mine a little over a week now, and it's my new best friend! Easy to put up, easy to take down; easy to use. What more can I say? Oh, I know: Why haven't you ordered one yet? Andy, Bristol
All well and good after receiving mine yesterday. like the style of it and the fact that its sooo easy to use. definately recommened mr, london
I got my power bar just a day after ordering it and its excellent. Its completely sturdy and it doesnt damage your door frame whatsoever. This is a must have for anyone who wants to improve their upper body strength. Lloyd, Southend
I'v been using the powerbar everyday since i got it a few weeks ago and my upper arm has gone from stick to thick! Its easy to put up and take down unlike those ones that you screw into your door frame, and cant be bothered taking it down and bang your head off when stumbling in after a night out! incredible price for an incredible product! Recommended! Ali, Stonehaven
I got mine a few days ago and i can't stop using it (unless i'm in pain from doing too many pull ups.) I'm not exactly the strong type but i can feel my arms growing already! Really simple to use, it can be put up in about three seconds and even the tallest of people can use it. A really great product. Joe S, Oxfordshire
I just got mine today. Needless to say, this thing is damn good. I didn't think it would be sturdy when putting it up, but it is. Hasn't yet been tested with anyone over 11 stone though! Seems to work a treat - would definitely recommend! Jay Shields, Leeds
This is a great product, especially if like me you are a big tall guy who doesn't want to risk one of those dodgy numbers that you screw into the door frame. It is simple, sturdy, and packs away with no fuss at all. Chins and pull ups are awesome upper body exercises, but they are hard to do. You can build up your chin up score by 'Greasing the Groove' - i.e doing half your max number of chins several times a day (a few times a week). Never go to failure when doing this. After a couple of weeks, take a rest for a few days, and then see what your max is - you'll be pleased. Also try Gorilla chins, where you pull yourself up, and then curl yourself up into a ball whilst at the top. Gavin B, Haywards Heath
This is awesome; if you want to get those muscles in shape hassle free, then this is the gift for you. The ladies will love you once you get this high tech equipment at a low cost. Alex, Clouston
Fantastic! I've had this about a week now and can't resist using it everyday. Easy to fit and remove when needed and won't make you look a fool like you did with your old one when it came away from the door frame and you crashed to the floor! (No irritating fitting of screws and brackets either.) If you're after a chin up bar this should definitely be your first choice. Mark Roden, Sutton Coldfield
