When the WildSling first arrived at Stuff HQ last summer, everyone from the MD to the cleaner became addicted to firing water bombs long distance. There's only one problem with the original version: you need three people to use it. Luckily the clever people behind it have come up with this one person version. Now as few or as many of you as you like can play.

With the solo WildSling you can fire water bombs as far as 120ft; not as far as the original admittedly, but still pretty damn impressive. Besides, that's not the point - because with the solo version, you've got the option of competitions, and of course fights. Teamwork is definitely overrated.

So just how do you send your bombs soaring so far on your own? Well you've got four limbs haven't you? Yes, with the WildSling Solo, you need to put in a spot of legwork - literally. To launch a bomb, lie back and place your feet in the WildSling's stirrups, then pull the loaded sling back and release. Yes, you will look ridiculous in that position, but given the supremely silly nature of balloon bombing, it can only add to the fun.

Can you fire your bomb further than your mates can? Can you hit them in the head at long range with an ultra-satisfying ‘splat'? There's only one way to find out...

wingsling launcher is just brilliant, trying to hit numerious things is just class. if your gona have anyfun at all in the summer this is the thing you want! so get moving and buy one! or 2 and have battles with ur friends.

this is so cool! try using different ammo,if you ever get a takeaway from an indian,keep the little pots of poppadum dip and fire these(keep the lids on) There'll soon be onion, mango chuckney, and chilli splattered around the neighbourhood. also very good for snowball fights! cheers boystuff!! :p

If you ain't bought don't comment! I have and I can tell you that it's excellent. You can shoot the balloons a bit further than 120 feet if you fill with a little less water. Try getting 3 or 4 mates each with a Wild Sling, finding a local park (we have one with a tap close at hand!) and then spread out, lie on your back and fling at your pals! As you are stationary you can't run or hide. It's like being pelted with wet mortar bombs!!!! Brilliant. Exciting. We're off right now for more!

I haven't bought it yet but it looks amazingly good fun! I have the three man wildsling, but sometimes the temptation is to fire at friends and you can't do that with them holding the handles can you? It looks a bit stupid, but who cares when you can fire that far? It's bound to fill my summer with laughs and school boy giggles on holiday. Cheers Boys Stuff!!!!
