Petroselinum crispum Parsley This plant is an evergreen herb originating from S. Europe. Biennial herb with tightly curled leaves; continuous picking; susceptible to viruses It's shape is described as upright. It grows to a height of 0.8m and 0.6m in width. It has feathery foliage that is green. It produces flowers during mid summer that are clustered in shape and yellow in colour. This hardy plant grows to make a clump. It requires a moist, rich and well drained soil, preferring full sun, semi-shade, sun, and a position in a container or in a vegetable garden. It is susceptible to and should be protected from fly and leaf spot.	A superb strain with tightly curled rich green leaf, ideal for garnishes, soups, and stews. A fine windowsill pot plant which will supply fresh parsley on demand. Parsley will grow in ordinary soil in sun or part shade, but for best results prefers a rich moist soil. Soak the seeds overnight before sowing indoors from August to February or outdoors from April to July. Earliest sowings can be made in the warmth during late winter and planted out in early spring after hardening off. Outdoors, sow 1cm deep in drills 30cm apart. To harvest, pick over all the plants regularly to encourage fresh new growth.   Overall Quality Value No reviews exist.
