The Baracuta jacket, or the G9 as its officially known, is one of the most iconic pieces of clothing ever created, thanks to likes of Steve McQueen, Elvis and Frank Sinatra who wore it with style. The jacket was originally created back in 1937 in Manchester by a man named John Miller, and the jacket is still made today to the same specifications. 100 cotton with raglan sleeves, elasticated cuffs and slanted, button pockets, the jacket is also shower and rainproof. With its Fraser tartan lining, the Baracuta is, and always will be, the ultimate blouson jacket. In connecting Steve McQueen with the Baracuta G9 jacket we did not seek to infer any formal association or endorsement of the jacket by the star. We merely point out that he wore the jacket on numerous occasions as did many other Hollywood stars and famous personalities from around the world.
