We rigged up dual-cam hinges, capped the sides with metal icons, and created a continuous contour of a lens material called PLUTONITE® that filters out 100% of all UV. Our proprietary geometries curve the frame so even medium-size faces get a precise fit that doesn’t stick out at the sides. Our polarized lenses are specially engineered to block the blinding rays of glare that are magnified by flat surfaces such as snow, water and pavement. Oakley polarization technology utilizes a liquid infusion process to bond the polarizing filter at the molecular level.
