This year's Panasonic's DVD home cinema products feature 1080p up-conversion technology that up-converts standard definition (720 x 576 pixels) images from DVD to near Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) Level. These up-converted signals draw out the maximum performance of an HDMI compatible 1080p High Definition TV, giving you vivid, sharp and exceptionally detailed high-resolution images to enjoy.
The PT350W also offers rear wireless convenience. Audio signals are transmitted digitally between the main unit and surround speakers by radio waves, so there's no need for cables around the sides of the room. This is especially convenient in a room with hardwood floors, where hiding cable is not so easy. The wireless unit can be placed out of sight behind a sofa and hidden without a problem. The 2.4-GHz wireless system combines Advanced Adaptive Frequency Selection using a bi-lateral authentication system, to minimize interference from passing objects or other electronic devices such as a mobile phone.
