SPACE SAVING WEIGHT SET
The Space Saving Weight Set is a revolutionary, space-saving free weight set, that is ideal for people who require a full weight set, but who have limited space. It is also excellent for people who travel, personal fitness trainers and anyone who wants a quality weight set - but with out needing a lot of space.
One bar forms one long bar weighing up to 33lbs/15kg or two dumbbells, each weighing up to 13lbs/5.9kg.
The Weight Bar set includes two 16"/40cm long dumbbells, which range in weight from 2.5lbs/1.4kg to 13lbs/5.9kg. Adding weight is simple - up to five 1.5lb/0.7kg metal slugs can be stored in each dumbbell. Also, each end cap weighs 2.5lbs/1.4kg. Light-weight plastic spacers are included with the set to hold the slugs in place when you don't require the maximum weight.
Three separate shafts make up the long bar. When assembled, they form a 40 inch/100cm long bar that can vary in weight from 14lbs/6.36kg to 33lbs/15kg, depending on the number of inserts. The two outer shafts are hollow. Each can hold up to five 1.5lb/0.7kg weight slugs, designed to slide in to the shaft. When using less than five slugs, plastic fillers prevent the metal slugs from sliding. The center bar is solid, and weighs 9lbs/4.1kg.
Included with the weight set is an instructional DVD. This video features Kevin Wince who introduces and demonstrates different weight configurations of the Space Saving Weight Bar including long bar and dumbbell setup. Most of this DVD is devoted to demonstrating at least 26 basic exercises with the Bar.
