Langdale's Essence of Cinnamon is formulated from natural plant extracts and contains no added colours or preservatives. The aromatic qualities of cinnamon have been subtly blended with three natural herbal expectorants: Ipecac Tincture BP Ipecacuanha or Ipecac is the common name of the plant that comes from Latin America and the substance is obtained from its root. The plant belonging to the rose family, is primarily used by herbalists for respiratory conditions. Squill Tincture BP Squills are native plants of Africa, Asia and Europe and is one of the oldest plants known to herbal medicine. Senega Liquid Extract Polygala Senega root was said to be used by the North American Seneca Indians for the treatment of snake bites. The therapeutic qualities of cinnamon have been tried and tested through the centuries and are increasingly being advertised in the national press for their bacterial and anti-viral qualities. Directions for use: Take three times a day in warm milk, water or other hot beverage according to taste.
