Sturdy piece which not only looks like real wood, it is real wood so will rot down in the compost. Perfect and cheap to boot! (Cutlery for green, local Hampshire produce wedding in June 2007)

I was very pleased with the birchwood cutlery. It was light as a feather but surprisingly effective - much better than plastic knives and forks. The wood is smooth - not at all like the chip-forks another reviewer mentioned.

How fantastic! Kind to the environment and better looking than plastic! Very up-market chip forks. Worth the money for my fancy occassion.

Arrived next day, which was excellent. Perfect for my garden party, as this cutlery does not bend like the plastic type and looks much better! Even better, didn't have to wash them afterwards!!
