Exercise In A Chair

Exercise In A Chair  £12.99

Exercise In A Chair is a short course of exercises all of which can be conducted quite simply. For a few minutes each day, whilst seated in a chair and demonstrated in an easy to follow and learn routine by Deborah Lamb, AISTD. From the top of the head to the tips of the toes the exercises are designed to create good circulation and to keep the muscles and joints supple. If done regularly they will improve general fitness, reduce stiffness in the joints and help relieve stress. They are ideal for those confined to a chair through travel, whether through air flights, long train journeys or even in a car; for office executives and VDU operators who spend much of their working day seated and for the elderly. The Exercise In A Chair program has been developed by Margaret Preston, MCSP & SRP, who runs a popular physiotherapy clinic and personally specialises in dealing with the physical problems caused by sitting for too long whether through commuting, work or old age. 'If you are unfit, you will not become fit tomorrow. Do not rush it as it is a gradual process. Do not do anything that hurts as you are likely to injure yourself' Dr CGC Petit, MB Bch BAQ LM, Medical Adviser.
