After valuable treasure is captured during battle, the Roman council go into discussion as to what to do next. A brave centurion Gehus volunteers to retrieve it. The treasure is held by a group of rebels lead by Aderbal (John Drew Barrymore) that worships a goddess whose one eyed statue adorns their hideout. Rome Against Rome is a classic peplum with a horror twist. A zombified soldier rising from his coffin, Nosferatu style, is one of the macabre highlights. The zombies are turned into fighting machines to destroy the Roman army.
