Easycom: It should be a standard common lead that plugs into the AC adapter so it shouldnt be hard to find the same type of lead with a different plug.

7-Oct-2008 Traveltomo: I have been advised that the Asus eee PC is not compatible with AOL broadband irrespective of the wireless router used. Is this correct? I have AOL Broadband with a netgear wirelesss asdl router using WEP.

Matt: It seems to be possible to get it working on Linux but not easy from what I can see. Unless you are an advanced user I would recommend sticking with Windows.

3-Sep-2008 Lynds: I have been waiting for this laptop since July. Is there any sign of it? I was told 3rd September but now your sales people are saying thats not the case

Easycom: We have been given several dates from Asus and it appears they have put the date back again so unfortunately we are still waiting for stock.

1-Sep-2008 Hippo: I ordered and paid for my eeepc on 15th Aug after being assured by one of your sales staff that there would be stock on the 19th. So far all I have recieved are emails telling me that there are none in stock!!! Can you please let me know when I will recieve the product I have already paid for???

Easycom: Sorry about that. We have received several dates from Asus for the release of that product and they have let us down each time. Please call our sales team and they can chase up the latest delivery date we have been given.

10-Sep-2008 Sean: waited 4 weeks for this item. gotten sick of waiting, cancelled the order for one reason alone: I can understand if Asus have been causing the issue, that I can forgive. but you have a website that has *always* said 2-7days delivery. Given you know full well this isn't the slightest bit close to the truth, I'm rather annoyed at laptops direct's handling of this. at least say awaiting stock, don't lie!

Easycom: Appolgies for the delay but we have also been at the whim of Asus's release dates for at least two months now. It appears that they were a little too eager with the release date and have since put it back more times than I can mention, and always by a week or so which is why the stock said 2-7days. We do not lie but we do have to rely on information from the manufacturers. Please call our sales team for a more accurate delivery date.

11-Sep-2008 Hippo: Still waiting and still receiving standard out of stock emails. When I rang sales staff they were unable to give eta. Surely you must have some idea. It's very frustrating to have paid for product and not even have an eta. Please let me and others know.

Easycom: Sorry the lack of info but this down to Asus and not ourselves. We have been given so many dates for stock coming that have been and gone and so now will only give a time for delivery once we have solid information.
