Dalwhinnie has a little bit of everything, peat, honey and backbone. A classic malt for everyone.

Tasting Notes : A wholemeal and honey quality to the nose and the odd smoky tangent. A sweet, fruity core and a long round finish.

Method of Production : Some of Dalwhinnie's complexity is from the water, sourced from Allt an t'Sluie Burn, some is from the traditional worms and the two stills and yet I feel sure that the altitude and weather must also play their part. The young spirit is aged in Ex-Bourbon casks for 15 years before bottling.

A real gem and a must in any malt collection. The sweetness makes it a perfect way to finish off an evening with friends, or simply by yourself in front of an open fire.
